Privacy & Data Practices
This page describes, in general terms, how Allure TeleHealth handles your information. It is not a substitute for a formal Notice of Privacy Practices or legal advice.
What we collect
- Contact details you provide (such as name, email, phone).
- Health information related to your intake and visits (symptoms, history, medications, allergies).
- Technical data such as IP address and basic device/browser information.
How we use your information
- To provide telehealth services and communicate about your care.
- To maintain records as required for clinical, billing, or compliance purposes.
- To improve the service in de-identified or aggregated form when possible.
Third-party services
We may use third-party vendors for hosting, payments, email, and analytics. We aim to avoid sharing more information than necessary for them to perform their functions. Do not include highly sensitive information in free-text fields that is not needed for your care.
Your choices
- You may request that we limit certain uses or disclosures of your information.
- You may request a summary of your telehealth visit, subject to applicable law and system capabilities.
- You may choose not to use this service if you are not comfortable with electronic communication of health information.
This page is a simplified overview and does not replace a full HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. For true HIPAA compliance and state-specific requirements, consult a qualified healthcare attorney and ensure that all technology vendors sign appropriate Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where required.
